Myles Garrett Puts On A Show At The Combine

I don’t like to overreact to the scouting combine workouts, you see impressive stuff but of course you always try to remember that it is a workout and the players might be under pressure to perform but they are not under the big game pressure on Sunday. Then someone like Myles Garrett comes along and you just can’t help yourself.

We knew Myles was good coming into the combine and boy did he put on a show. He is presumed to be the number 1 pick in the draft this year and he is surely destined to be heading to Cleveland after his performance in the weekend just passed. Unless of course the Browns decide to trade the number 1 pick away, and yes, they are fielding offers for it.

Garrett weighed in at 273 pounds and is 6-foot-4. He ran a 4.64 in the 40 yard dash, he had a 41 inch vertical jump and a 128 inch broad jump. He racked up 33 reps on the bench press and when you add this all into looking at the tape you can see why he is so popular coming into the draft.

He has the potential to be a game changer and the Browns would want to either get an incredible offer of just be downright nuts to trade the pick away to someone else. Statistically the Browns defense was one of the worst units in the league last season, they need a guy like Garrett to come in and help them with their struggles.
